Ting A Ling A Ling is a genuinely frightening ultra-short, driven by a stand-out performance from Welsh actor, Michael Gerard, and a subtle interpretation of the ambivalence of grief by Beth Fitzgerald. Filming took place in Brighton and the Sussex village of Falmer during a weekend in late summer 2008.
Set in Victorian times, it tells the story of a man who has just been buried alive. But does the apparently grieving wife know this has happened? The film has been produced in two 'serious' versions (1:30 and 2:40) and a slightly bizarre spoof based on the cult 1980s TV adverts for Hamlet cigars.
